Highways / Transportation

Companies and residents alike benefit from Allen's ease of transportation whether using major highways US 75, State Highway 121 or State Highway 5 or using the city's internal road network. New construction projects continue to enhance Allen's ability to handle increased traffic flow as the community grows. Access to the rest of the world is within a 45-minute drive via DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field. Companies with corporate jets can take advantage of housing their aircraft at the Collin County Regional Airport just seven miles away. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) authority owns the railroad right-of-way through Allen. The closest DART station to Allen is located at Parker Road & US 75 in Plano.
